FOR CHANGE
Seeking Justice Through Change
Welcome to this free-standing website, which is dedicated to all fallen law enforcement officers, with specific remembrance of Federal Corrections Officers Jose Rivera, Osvaldo Albarati, and Eric Williams.
By navigating this website, you will learn about the tragic murders of the above-mentioned officers, the impact on their families, and the outcome of their trials. You will also be made aware of the struggles the families and the CPL-33 union members underwent in order to get safety legislation passed for corrections officers. It was through this process that the advocacy group Voices of JOE was born.
As of December 2024, Voices of JOE will be dissolved as a corporation. Prior to that, the corporation will begin reducing the scope of its operations, and will no longer accept donations. However, the families of the fallen and their supporters remain committed to the cause of honoring the fallen, pursuing safety legislation, and advocating for justice for LEOs.
Disclaimer: Voices of JOE does not get involved in prison workplace problems and personal grievances between employees, supervisors, or administrators.
